Dick Gregory was a comedian and civil rights activist who unfortunately succumb to the allure of conspiracy theories, beginning with the Kennedy assassination, and fell deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of nonsense until there was almost no lie he wasn’t willing to believe. In this clip from my feature documentary, Conspiracy Theorists Lie (2015), you can see him on Geraldo Rivera’s talk show in the 1970s, Goodnight America, spreading disinformation about JFK’s murder, and him, many years later, talking to 911 “Truthers” about how knowledgeable they are (or how knowledgeable he believes themselves to be).

Just for knowing, you can rent or buy the complete film on Amazon.
